UTRID membership connects you with Utah’s interpreting community and provides access to professional development opportunities, resources, and member-only benefits.
Certified, Associate, Student & Supporting Members
- Discounted or free admission to UTRID-sponsored workshops
- Eligibility to apply for UTRID scholarship funds (RID membership also required)
- PINRA processing through UTRID, an approved PINRA sponsor — up to 3 PINRAs processed per year
- Opportunities to network with other working professionals
Organizational Members
- CMP processing for up to 6 workshops, with additional workshops processed for $25 each
- 2 complimentary registrations for the annual UTRID Conference
- 1 complimentary registration for each Terp Talk held during the membership year
- Member pricing for other workshops offered by UTRID or its partners
MEMBERSHIP YEAR
Membership Year
UTRID’s annual membership cycle runs from July 1 through June 30.
UTRID provides a two-month grace period for renewing your membership. Member benefits are extended through August 31 before membership benefits expire.
YOUR MEMBERSHIP MATTERS

Membership in both UTRID and RID is required for certain UTRID governance privileges.
Vote
Participate in UTRID elections and help shape the organization.
Run for Office
Eligible members can run for elected UTRID leadership positions.
Serve in Leadership
Maintain your eligibility to serve as a UTRID officer.
Members who wish to vote or run for office must have dual membership in UTRID and RID prior to election day.
