The UTRID Mentoring Program creates opportunities for interpreters to connect, share experience, learn from one another, and build relationships within Utah’s interpreting community.
What to Expect
3 Months
A focused mentoring experience designed to support meaningful professional growth.
3–4 Meetings
Mentors and mentees meet regularly throughout the three-month program.
$75
Mentee participation fee for the three-month mentoring program.

Mentors
Mentors are experienced local Utah Deaf or hearing interpreters who meet the program’s qualifications and are ready to share their knowledge, experience, and perspective.
Mentees
The program supports interpreters and emerging interpreters who want to develop their professional skills, connect with an experienced colleague, and grow within the profession.
